Transport and Installation of the Steel Plant Crane

We delivered the 2 ton low headroom hoist to the customer’s site in August 2023, by sea and road transportation. The hoist was packed in wooden cases and wrapped with plastic film to protect it from damage and corrosion during transport.

The installation process was as follows:

  • Measure and mark the position of the crane rail on the roof of the workshop, and fix the rail clips and bolts on the roof.
  • lift the crane beam place it on the rail clips, and tighten the bolts to secure it.

  • adjust the hoist to make sure it is aligned with the crane beam and the hook is centred.
